Dr Beryl Mary Palmier (MRCOG)
(1926- 2020)

We remember with great respect and affection Dr. Beryl Mary Palmier (MRCOG), whose passing in 2020 marked the loss of a dedicated and valued member of our medical community. Dr. Palmier's contributions to the field, her commitment to patient care, and her supportive presence within the Society will be deeply missed.

 

Her legacy of professionalism and kindness leaves a lasting impact, and she will always be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege to work with her.

Dr Beryl Palmier was the SDMS President from 1982 until 1983 and a local GP.  She was well-travelled and lectured the Society on Easter Island in 2001 and on the Kingdom of Bhutan in 2009 based on her personal experiences.
